Today’s Question: How do I feel less tired?
As an adult, we tend to feel tired all the time but what is the solution to all this? Let me help you out with this problem.
Sleep: You need to aim for 7-9 hours of sleep each night. Lack of sleep is a major cause of fatigue. Instead of waking up early try to sleep earlier. This makes it much easier to be well-rested.
Get moving: Paradoxically, exercising can actually boost your energy levels. I know it is tiring but it will help you out in the long run. Aim for at least 150 minutes of moderate exercise per week.
Diet: Your diet needs to include enough nutrients, protein, and complex carbohydrates to fuel your body. Avoid sugar and fatty foods as much as possible.
Water is important too: Dehydration can cause fatigue, so drink plenty of water throughout the day. This will help you feel energetic and will get you through the day.
Limit caffeine: While a little caffeine can provide a temporary energy boost, too much can lead to a crash in energy levels. So don’t go overboard.
Breaks: If you're working long hours, you need to take short breaks to recharge. Even a 5-10 minute walk can help rejuvenate you. Don’t try to do it all in one go. This will harm you in the long run.
Avoid alcohol: Alcohol can interfere with sleep quality and dehydrate you, leading to fatigue. So cut down on the booze and get a good snooze.
