Today’s Question: How do I feel less tired?

As an adult, we tend to feel tired all the time but what is the solution to all this? Let me help you out with this problem.

  • Sleep: You need to aim for 7-9 hours of sleep each night. Lack of sleep is a major cause of fatigue. Instead of waking up early try to sleep earlier. This makes it much easier to be well-rested.

  • Get moving: Paradoxically, exercising can actually boost your energy levels. I know it is tiring but it will help you out in the long run. Aim for at least 150 minutes of moderate exercise per week.

  • Diet: Your diet needs to include enough nutrients, protein, and complex carbohydrates to fuel your body. Avoid sugar and fatty foods as much as possible.

  • Water is important too: Dehydration can cause fatigue, so drink plenty of water throughout the day. This will help you feel energetic and will get you through the day.

  • Limit caffeine: While a little caffeine can provide a temporary energy boost, too much can lead to a crash in energy levels. So don’t go overboard.

  • Breaks: If you're working long hours, you need to take short breaks to recharge. Even a 5-10 minute walk can help rejuvenate you. Don’t try to do it all in one go. This will harm you in the long run.

  • Avoid alcohol: Alcohol can interfere with sleep quality and dehydrate you, leading to fatigue. So cut down on the booze and get a good snooze.

Hope these tips help. Remember that you can fix this problem by working towards it. Good luck to you.
